TOWNSHIP OF LASALLE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING

The LaSalle Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the LaSalle Township Hall, 4109 LaPlaisance Road, LaSalle, Michigan, to consider the following request:

Eric Chappell of 12198 Lakeshore Dr, LaSalle, MI 48145. Parcel# 5809-180-279-00. Mr. Chappell is requesting a side yard setback variance from 10’ to 1’, to construct a 24x24x8 detached garage with a 10/12 pitch roof for storage

Jacob John Abbott, of 2666 N Otter Creek Rd,  LaSalle, MI 48145. Parcel# 5809-130-115-30. Mr. Abbott is requesting a setback variance from 15’ 8” to 10’ or less, to construct a new  32x48x12.9 Pole Building. LaSalle Township ordinance #55, section 5.17, Accessory Uses, Buildings and Structures.
