NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the May 6, 2025 Special Election has been scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. in the LaSalle Township Office Complex at 4111 LaPlaisance Road, LaSalle, MI.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program, and computer that will be used to tabulate the results of the election, counts the votes in the manner prescribed by law.

ALL GENERAL TRASH AND OTHER DEBRIS MATERIAL MUST BE IN CANS, BAGS OR BOXES OR BUNDLES OR SO AN INDIVIDUAL CAN HANDLE IT. MISCELLANEOUS MATERIAL MUST BE CONTAINERIZED!!!
CONCRETE, RAILROAD TIES AND OTHER SUCH HEAVY ITEMS MUST BE IN A SIZE THAT CAN BE HANDLED BY HAND BY ONE PERSON.
NO, TIRES, TAR, HAZARDOUS WASTE (CHEMICALS LIQUID OR DRY OR ASBESTOS ETC.) OR SPECIAL WASTE (CONTAMINATED) MATERIAL TO BE HAULED. NO COMPRESSED CONTENT TANKS (GAS OR OTHER).
Note: paint container(s) that are dried out (liquid free) are alright, ei: you can mix it with cat litter or sand to absorb the liquid.
METAL RECYCABLE ITEMS, WHITE GOODS, STOVES, REFRIGERATORS, FURNANCES, HOT WATER TANKS, FARM EQUIPMENT, ANYTHING STEVENS DISPOSAL PERSONNEL CONSIDERS RECYCABLE WITHIN THIS CATERGORY WILL BE ACCEPTED. NOTE STEVENS DISPOSAL PERSONNEL OPINION IS FINAL!
QUESTIONABLE MATERIAL WILL BE DECIDED UPON BY STEVENS DISPOSAL PERSONNEL, ITEMS TO BE HAULED AS STEVENS PERSONNEL BELIEVE BEST AND OR SAFEST THAT DECISION IS FINAL!!!!!!
STEVENS DISPOSAL NOR ITS EMPLOYEES ARE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PATRONS OR ANY DAMAGES TO VEHICLES THAT MAY ARISE FROM OUR ASSISTANCE IN THE HANDLING OF ITEMS TO BE DISPOSED OF DURING THIS OR ANY OTHER CLEANUP. WE WILL ALSO MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO LEAVE THE AREA OF THE CLEAN-UP AS WE FOUND IT, WITHIN OUR ABILITY

–LASALLE TOWNSHIP LEGAL NOTICE 2025 NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL
TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OCCUPANTS OF LANDS SITUATED IN LASALLE TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
Notice is hereby given that all weeds and brush growing on any lands within the Township of LaSalle (except exempt vegetation) must be cut, and destroyed and removed to prevent such weeds from going to seed or to blossom, from becoming a fire hazard, from perpetuating themselves and/or from creating a condition detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of LaSalle Township.
Failure to comply with this notice on or before May 1 shall make the property owner liable for the costs of cutting and removing said weeds, and/or brush by LaSalle Township, said cost to be levied and collected against said lands in the same manner as other taxes are levied and collected, and being a lien against said lands. The Township may cut the weeds and brush as many times as is deemed necessary to achieve compliance with this Ordinance in the discretion of the Building Official and may charge the cost to the property owner.
