-TOWNSHIP OF LASALLE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING
The LaSalle Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the LaSalle Township Hall, 4109 LaPlaisance Road, LaSalle, Michigan, to consider the following request:
Justin T Russell of 12259 Lakeshore Dr, LaSalle MI 48145 parcel id# 5809-180-210-01 is requesting 2 setback variances from LaSalle Township Zoning Ordinance #55, Section 5.17 Accessory Uses, Building & Structures. Mr. Russell is requesting a 2 foot variance from side lot and a 4 foot variance from house to the accessory structure, to construct a 24X40 detached building.

–LASALLE TOWNSHIP LEGAL NOTICEc 2024 NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL
TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND OCCUPANTS OF LANDS SITUATED IN LASALLE TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
Notice is hereby given that all weeds and brush growing on any lands within the Township of LaSalle (except exempt vegetation) must be cut, and destroyed and removed to prevent such weeds from going to seed or to blossom, from becoming a fire hazard, from perpetuating themselves and/or from creating a condition detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of LaSalle Township.
Failure to comply with this notice on or before May 1 shall make the property owner liable for the costs of cutting and removing said weeds, and/or brush by LaSalle Township, said cost to be levied and collected against said lands in the same manner as other taxes are levied and collected, and being a lien against said lands. The Township may cut the weeds and brush as many times as is deemed necessary to achieve compliance with this Ordinance in the discretion of the Building Official and may charge the cost to the property owner.
